Artist Statement:
I have been sewing all my life, and I have enjoyed quilting the last couple years. This fabric reminded me of old European architecture with its bold and geometric shapes in gold and black. It looks so luxurious and elegant. I took a log cabin curvy ruler and made squares. Then I sewed them together. I am pleased how it turned out.
