Artist Statement:
I never thought too much about doing a wedding ring quilt because historically they are done on a white background, which I’m not fond of. When I saw this kit with a yellow background, I was sold. With the appliqué border, it was right up my alley, as I have been a longtime appliqué connoisseur.
