Artist Statement:

The construction of this quilt took over 10 years from start to finish. I finished the quilting in 2020 during lockdown, and blocked and embellished it in 2021. The techniques I used include: machine piecing, Broderie Perse, free motion machine embroidery, free motion quilting with mostly metallic thread, ruler work, couching, hand beading, and I added crystals and cabochons.
