Artist Statement:
Inspired by William Blake's poem "The Tyger," plus holding a baby Siberian tiger while in China, this art quilt honors both. The eyes are the focal point. Movement is shown through the circular patterns, quilting, the smaller blue-piped appliqués and the jagged quilted pebble pathway of the tiger.
