"Moncarapacho" by Willyne Hammerstein
Artist Statement:
Based on Willyne Hammerstein's Moncarapacho quilt from "Millefiori Quilts: Book 3," I redesigned the layout so none of the flowers were cut off at the borders! I hand stitched English Paper Piecing, using only two shapes. The 10-point layout was a new experience, especially when it came to designing the machine quilting.
