Artist Statement:
A modern twist to the traditional English paper piecing method of Grandmother’s Flower Garden with 162 total flowers and 2,193 total hexagons. Kaffe Fassett Collection fabrics were used for the flowers. Hidden in the newspaper print are two fussy cut young women who could have grown to become my grandmothers.
