Artist Statement:
Created for a name that tune challenge, this quilt features a hand‑painted and thread‑painted horse inspired by a reference photo by Christa Merk (used with permission). Designed to be viewed from both sides, it reflects my love of horses, the song and the imagery that inspired it.
