Artist Statement:
I was fascinated by this pattern for months before I finally realized that Covid isolation was the perfect time for tedious sewing. Unlike my normal way of doing things, I spent some serious time choosing fabrics—mostly batiks, some Grunge—and getting organized, which I highly recommend.
