Artist Statement:

Over the past few years, endless news reports/videos have shown numerous Black males killed as police performed their duty to first protect themselves, and ultimately the community. Many Black men killed were unarmed, walking away, or surrendering. Under identical circumstances, when white offenders were shot, they were incapacitated, not killed. Why the difference?
