The Creator’s Cottage is a maker space located in South Madison serving the educational and career development needs of artists and writers. Community members benefit from our active calendar of events, our fully equipped fiber arts studio, a writer’s cafe, dedicated classroom space and overnight retreat accommodations for visiting artists. Our mission is to transform the lives of women, children, and families of color through the creative arts, our mission centers artists of color while also welcoming people from all walks of life.
