Artist Statement:

I took a beginner's English paper piecing class using scraps to learn a new skill. After that afternoon, I never went anywhere without the “hexie box” on trains, planes, cars, to concerts and in waiting rooms. I developed this quilt organically over seven years. 1 quilter + 2 hands = “3351" pieces. It was hand pieced and quilted.
