Artist Statement:
I revised the stag pattern and changed colors. I collected oak leaves from my yard and buck hoof prints from the snow for appliquéd pieces. I had hostas and tulips quilted round the bucks head to say “You can’t eat these now!” and pebbles around the hoof for a natural effect.
