Racism: In the Face of Hate We Resist

Artist Statement:

I feel it’s about time that all the people of the United States begin to have the hard and difficult conversation about racism in our country. I believe that the protest and social justice movements across the country, sparked by systemic racism and police brutality, have awakened the country and ignited the much-needed conversation. It’s a start – but there are a lot more conversations to have, policies to change and work to do. Plain and simple, we as a country, white, Black or Brown must make it a point to keep working towards equality by defeating and ending racism.
