Racism: In the Face of Hate We Resist

Artist Statement:

The double jeopardy of a Black man wearing a pandemic face mask seemed to me to be the perfect image for the intersection of the Covid pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement. I was inspired by the image of an old man I saw wearing this type of mask.
