Artist Statement:
I used 75% of my panel for everything except the background in this original design. The panel background became the fence, and the giant panel flowers made the new flowers. I used trapunto, beading, my own 3-dimensional technique, improv piecing and my hand-dyed selvages for most of the leaves.
