Artist Statement:
I've always admired lighthouses. I took on the challenge of piecing together different shapes to create the illusion of objects from nature, such as rocks, trees and the flow of water. My quilting form depicts "the quiet breeze of the day," using mainly horizontal "stitching in the ditch."
