Artist Statement:

I wanted to use my Paula Nadelstern fabrics and thought paisleys would lend themselves to the intensely detailed fabrics. Each paisley has five layers, is edge-turned, glued in place and machine appliquéd. The quilt top was pieced, put on my design wall and the paisleys pushed around until I was happy.
