Artist Statement:
I've always loved Art Deco travel posters with their bright colors, out of proportion subject matter, plus a bit of whimsy! My quilt is made of Cherrywood hand dyed fabrics, which I both pieced and used raw edge appliqué. Touches of metallic fabric paint were used for embellishment.
