Artist Statement:
I wanted to capture a snapshot of my Trout Valley Garden. There are approximately 4,960 hexagons hand pieced in the top. It is machine quilted with free form florals to enhance the top design. The edges are hand turned and stitched to keep the flower shape at the edge.
