Artist Statement:
Dahlia blocks, with an added line splitting each petal, were paper pieced. Dots in sashing and border were hand appliquéd. The loopy swag is heat transfer glitter vinyl. Using heavy weight black thread, Jan mimicked the loopy border design in each block. Contrasting black thread was used in outer border.
