Artist Statement:

This quilt's making started as a mindless exercise of paper piecing. The quilting is hand-guided with a longarm, including the quilting on the original quilted scalloped binding edge. There are accents of silk and hand-painting. Sometimes the making of a quilt is about the journey and not the destination.
