Artist Statement:

This modern quilt was inspired by the humble tumbling block and designed in PowerPoint. Using PowerPoint allowed me to manipulate the blocks in a way that drawing on graph paper doesn’t. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand appliquéd. It is double batted and free motion quilted on a domestic BERNINA.
