Artist Statement:

I am a collector of Victorian antiques, and this design was inspired by an old tile. The quilt appears to be traditional until you take a closer look. It’s predominantly painted and the feathers are inked. The pink is cork! I heavily embellished this quilt with bows, beads, trim and crystals. The dots are hand appliquéd.
