Artist Statement:
I wanted to use some of the long, spiky point elements of an earlier quilt, “Greensleeves,” which was an AQS purchase award for the National Quilt Museum. The checkerboard fans were added just to see if they were doable! A true collaboration—I designed, we both pieced and Marilyn quilted.
